How does EB-5 work?

The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program offers a pathway to U.S. permanent residency through a qualifying capital investment in a USCIS-approved project that creates at least 10 full-time U.S. jobs.
The minimum investment for a Targeted Employment Area (TEA) project is $800,000. Vedic Village qualifies as a TEA. Funds are held in escrow until USCIS I-526E approval conditions are met.
Processing times vary, but typically range from 24 to 36 months for conditional green card approval. After two years, investors can apply to remove conditions and obtain permanent residency.
One investment covers the principal investor, their spouse, and unmarried children under 21. Each family member receives their own conditional green card on the same timeline.
A USCIS-designated Regional Center pools investor capital into larger projects and allows job creation to be counted on an indirect basis, reducing the compliance burden. Vedic Village operates through an approved Regional Center.
