The land development process is very long and tedious. Our journey with Guilford county, NC, property to develop a self-sustainable, carbon-neutral community started in Oct 2021. We performed due diligence involving wetlands delineation, soils test, engineering feasibility, and a preliminary meeting with the county planning team. Since then, planning, neighbors, and the commissioner have had multiple sessions to get the rezoning approved in the middle of September 2022. Thanks to Guilford counties Commissioner Mrs. Murphy for the hope at the end of the tunnel.
